    I am doing this pattern right now, with a little twist. I had a tun of left over yarn left. I decided to use this, instead of the colors they give on the pattern. I still use the black as the background. It is turning out beautiful. It is such a great way to use up scrap yarn. I love it. Thank-you so much for sharing this wonderful pattern.

      I’m confused. Am I supposed to put a border around the half-diamonds as well as the small diamonds? The pattern mentions finishing “squares”.

    I love this and after knitting it, I am using pieces as pattern to make a quilt with beautiful coordinated cotton and even some sheer fabric for effect. Thanks, carol
